Enter your portal domain in the box labeled “Portal Domain”
-
Make sure the “Active” box is checked.
-
Click save!
-
Repeat for all agents using the portal.
**A Quick Tip**
How an agent can share a URL with a client and have them engaged:
1. Open up a browser they don’t usually use to access the admin section. This means if they use Google Chrome normally, use Firefox for this or log out of the site first.
2. Now, using the agent portal domain they were given or picked, enter it into the browser and it should take them to their profile page. This means they are now engaged.
3. To share a link with a client, simply go to the page you wish to share after the second step above, and at the end of the URL, add “?share”. If the URL already has a ? in it, then just add “&share” at the end.
4. Want to make sure you have the right agent engaged? Then go to the following url and it will show you the current browser-engaged cookie.
https://{YOURDOMAIN}/agents/portal_debug
5. Please note to always close your browser, not just the tabs, and re-open it before testing. Using a different browser to test portals is always a good idea. We do not suggest testing in private mode aka Incognito mode. When setting up the forward in your DNS, it is always a good idea to give an hour or two just in case your Registrar has a cache.
