[META DATA]
Overall understanding of meta, please visit the wiki Overall Meta knowledge
{Meta Keywords}
Meta keywords are those that search engines will try to pick up. It is important to make sure you mention the keywords in your writeup in order to give it more juice!
Snippets: our system uses place holds for certain replaceable items. For example, if you would like to use the title in your keywords it is much easier to just use the snippet {{blog_title}}. Our system will then replace this snippet with the title you used for that blog. This way if you change the title the meta will automatically change for you, keeping things consistent.
Some snippets are relative to the content in the post. an example would be {{address1}}, this will get replaced with the address of a listing if one is in the blog, It will use the top listing if more than one. Note if no listing, the {{address1}} will get replaced removed from that post meta.

{Meta Description}
Depending on the time and search engine, the meta description is said to be what you see when searching for content. Meaning if you were to search for a phrase and received a list of sites, the meta description is the summary you would see. We have noticed this change over the years and go back and forth with different search engines so we can't promise it is always going to be used just that if the search engine wants to use it, it would be there.
Snippets for this work the same as above.
{General Meta Tags}
"inherit General Meta Tags". I checked the system will pull in your General meta tags data above any other meat you put in the box below. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meta_element
We suggest you read the wiki article on Overall meta knowledge before using this unless you are already familiar with meta tags. Once you save, the system will show below what meta it is going to write to the page.
