Many website owners are now getting notices from attornies that their site is not ADA compliant. As the ADA guidelines for websites currently are very confusing and just to get close to them could cost thousands of dollars, we have been informed by one of our clients of a much easier approach to this problem. There is a company called UserWay that offers a widget, free trial version, and paid version that will make your site compliant with the Current ADA Guidelines. We suggest you look to them, for now, to see if this might be a good solution for you. They offer a widget as well as a letter for your site.

We want to thank Karyl Stephenson for her research on this. maybe NAR will also get involved soon and help as well. Please do not copy her statement as that statement was provided by UserWay and there are also other options below as well.

Current Options:

[Link to UserWay], No longer free versions but does have a free trial.

[Accessibe],No longer a free version but does have a free trial.

[Adally], Currently still free (when their site is working).
